Verified, Irreversible, Cooperative Dismantlement of North Korea’s Nuclear Weapons Program
June 1, 2004
The following materials discuss an approach to achieve the verified dismantlement of North Korea’s nuclear weapons program. These power-point slides, here converted into .pdf/acrobat files, were originally presented at a series of ISIS-sponsored workshops attended by officials and experts from countries involved in the Six-Party talks. The workshops started in early 2003. So far, approximately a dozen separate workshops have taken place, three of which were co-sponsored by the Center for Strategic and International Studies. The specific presentations below were drawn from a much larger set to provide a comprehensive introduction to this difficult topic. For internal tracking purposes, the date of the original presentation remains on the cover sheet of each presentation. Additional information can be found here.
