IAEA Director General Hans Blix Tours North Korean Nuclear Sites

In May 1992 an IAEA delegation headed by Director General Hans Blix is given a tour of several North Korean nuclear sites including the Yongbyon facility’s no.1 5MWe and no.2 50MWe reactors, and the fuel rod fabrication plant, the Institute of Radiochemistry, the Institute of Nuclear Electronics and Automatization, the Taechon nuclear power plant, and the Pyongsan uranium concentrate plant.
